Sally Timmons
Sally Timmons is an artist based in Dublin city. Timmons has involved herself in collaborative endeavour through various associations with artist-led groups such as, Via, Projector Collective, The Moore Street Lending Library [all Dublin based], Platform in Finland and N55 from Denmark. Timmons is founder and director of Commonplace Artists Studios and has worked on a number of independent curatorial ventures including Rigor Mort [an exhibition and book about loss 2007], The Temporary Collection [Castletown House, Kildare 2008], Based On Our Current Science [Gallery of Photography, Dublin 2008] and her ongoing commissioning venture Commonplace Projects [commissioning artworks in edition]. Timmons is currently associated with a number of projects relevant to The Arts and Health such as SOLAS [an exhibition in Naas general Hospital 2009 - 2010] and Lived Lives [Suicide in Ireland; A conversation and journey through Loss, currently being undertaken by artist Seamus McGuinness and Pofessor Kevin Malone - ongoing since 2006].
